Born May 6^th of 1992 Joshua Jackson, a.k.a J-SmallZ is an M.C from Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He grew up in the Delaney Homes housing projects, living with his mother and grandmother. Growing up in an urban environment without a father forced J-SmallZ to learn the ways of the streets. Thanks to the love and support of his family he incorporates a positive message in his music.

At the early age of 6 he found his creativity with words, always rhyming & singing & in time began to write. When he was 9 his poetry developed into music and he began to write songs. His messages in his lyric express his pain, happiness, and struggles how he overcame. Although his music is aimed at a wide audience, the messages in his song are spoken from a personal experiences and stories of harsh realities he has witnesses. The words positive, the beats strong, like the heart of J-SmallZ, obstacles and challenges into success. A person who will follow his dreams & take chances.

The three main artists who give him inspirations are 2-pac, Biggie Smalls, and Eminem. These are the artists he could most relate to since he was young. As far as his career, J-SmallZ hopes to become a positive role model, and better the lives of his family.
